pint whipping cream |

pints oysters |

cups bread or cracker crumbs |
Preparation
In a medium saucepan, cream butter and flour together and add milk slowly. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thick. Add the next six ingredients; stir to mix. In a 2- quart casserole, make two layers of: oysters, crumbs, and whipping cream. Pour sauce over all and sprinkle crumbs on top. Bake in oven at 300 degrees F for 40 minutes.
