Florida Shrimp Cocktail

Ingredients

| 1 | 2-ounce bag of prepared shrimp boil |
| 2 | teaspoons salt |
| 1 | Florida onion, sliced |
| 2 | quarts water |
| 1 | Florida lemon, sliced |
| 1 | clove garlic, sliced |
| 2 | pounds large Florida shrimp, peeled, tail on |
Preparation
Combine all ingredients, except shrimp, in a 4-quart sauce pan. Bring to a boil on high heat. Add shrimp and reduce heat to medium-high. Simmer 6 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until shrimp turn pink and opaque throughout. Do not overcook. Drain shrimp and cover with ice to chill. Serve in a martini glass or on a flat plate; garnish with parsley and lemon slices. Serve with favorite dipping sauce.
