Chef Mike Monahan

"Chef Mike" Monahan is a self-taught, self-made man. In 1994, while working with a local wine distributor, Chef Mike followed his passion for food and wine, and started performing in-store chef cooking demonstrations at his top wine selling accounts. As the sales of his wines soared, so did his company. Chef Monahan founded Chefs USA in 1995, and now operates in twenty one states, and has over 600 talented chefs in his organization. The company's purpose is to teach consumers at store level, the art of preparing simple meals that require less than five ingredients.

Because of his passion for cooking, he was instrumental in creating the Atlanta radio show "Chef and The Fat Man" and was the "Chef" co-host on a weekly basis. Chef Mike left the show to start his own video production company. His company, Chefs USA also produces "Cooking with Wine" loop videos that play in retail establishments throughout the United States.
